Syncing Disco Zoo Across Devices

Last Updated: Oct 27, 2016 09:56PM PDT
For Android devices:
Google recently stopped supporting their old syncing service and has implemented a new one.  We were not able to get the new system to sync consistently and have decided not to incorporate it.  There are third party apps on the Play Store that can help you backup and transfer your app and other phone data.

For iOS devices:
Disco Zoo will sync game data between iOS devices using iCloud.

To sync, both devices need to be logged into the same iCloud account and have a good internet connection.

Syncing is done manually.  To sync a game from one device to another go into the Disco Zoo Menu> Options> iCloud on the device you wish to load your previous saved game to.  From here you can select the save you wish to load.  The cloud can only keep 1 save per device at a time.  A save is made automatically but you will need to perform these syncing steps each time you switch devices to avoid losing your progress.   If you make progress on both device independently, the app will select the game with the furthest progress for the syncing.  If the game you wish to sync is not showing as available for syncing, try closing and reopening the app on both devices and try again.
