Restore or Transfer Game

Version 2.0+ uses Game Center for backups.  If you had PF 2.0+ installed on your previous device and were playing logged into Game Center you just need to install the app from the app store and login to your Game Center account.  After connecting to Game Center it will attempt to load your latest saved game.  Please allow a few minutes for the prompt to come up.
 
If you have an older version of Pocket Frogs (1.2.2 or older) on your device and have iOS version 4.3 or newer, please update to the latest version of Pocket Frogs in the app store before attempting to transfer to a new device.  Note: Enabling Game Center on the Pocket Frogs Menu before updating will sync your awards to Game Center and make sure they are saved.
 

If you do not have Pocket Frogs installed on your device and your game is from version 1.2.2 or older, your game data will not be restored by installing version 2.0.  
  • If you have an iTunes device backup with your game data you can restore from the backup.  Then log into a Game Center account, enable Game Center in the Pocket Frogs menu and  update the game to the latest version from the app store to ensure all of your progress and awards are transferred.  Please see the following link for more info on restoring: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766

 

  • Alternatively, if you have the old Pocket Frogs version downloaded in iTunes (with the orange frog icon) you can install this app onto your device directly, open the app and restore your game data from Plus+ (if you had been logged into it previously), then log into a Game Center account, enable Game Center in the Pocket Frogs menu and update the game to the latest version.
