Registering, Syncing and Restoring from the Cloud

How do I register/backup my LEGO Tower?

If you are a minor, you can register using LEGO ID.  From the LEGO Tower Cloud screen, tap the LEGO ID button and follow the prompts to login to your existing LEGO ID or create a new LEGO ID.

If you are an adult, you can register using your email address or LEGO ID.

To register your LEGO Tower game to an email address, go to the Cloud icon in the LEGO Tower menu.   In the grey box, enter a valid email address where further activation instructions will be sent.  If you view the email on the same device with your LEGO Tower game installed, you can click the "HERE" activation link in the email.  Otherwise, return to the LEGO Tower Cloud screen (on the same device it was requested), and enter the emailed activation code into the grey box.  You'll know the registration was successful when you see your email address listed on the Cloud screen next to "Registered".  If you entered the wrong email address originally repeat the above instructions.

How can I sync my game to another device?

Before syncing you need to register your original game to your email address.  Please see the previous response on registering your original tower first.  Once your initial tower is registered, you can then install the app on the secondary device, go to the LEGO Tower Cloud screen and activate your account using the same method (ie LEGO ID or email registration).  For email registration, you need to type in the same email address used for the initial registration.  You will be sent a new activation email.  If you view this new email from the secondary device, you can click the "HERE" activation link to complete the sync or go into the LEGO Tower Cloud screen on the secondary device and enter the new emailed activation code.  Once complete, the game will give a prompt confirming that you wish to sync your previously registered tower.

I lost my LEGO Tower data, how do I get it back?

If you've previously registered your tower to your email address or LEGO ID you can restore it from within the app.  Install the LEGO Tower app on your device, go to the Cloud screen and activate your account using the same method used previously (ie LEGO ID or email registration).

If you previously registered via email, you need to type in the same email address used for the initial registration.  You will be sent a new activation email.  If you view this new email from the same device, you can click the "HERE" activation link to complete the sync or go into the LEGO Tower Cloud screen and enter the new emailed activation code.  Once complete, the game will give a prompt confirming that you wish to sync your previously registered tower.

If you did not previously register your tower before it was lost, we can attempt to retrieve it.  Email us with your current and previous Player ID from the LEGO Tower Cloud screen (if you can't remember your past Player ID, check with a friend who may still have your ID in their LEGO Tower Friends menu).

I got an error when trying to register my game, now what?

Go to the Cloud screen and re-enter your email address.  A new activation email will be sent.  You need to activate within 24 hours of receiving this email or you will need to request another one.  Each email code/link is only good for one use.
Please note, you have to activate the backup/sync on one device at a time.  For example, enter your email on the Cloud screen of Device A (the device with your current game progress). Once you get the email, go back to the Cloud screen on Device A and enter the code to do the initial activation.  You'll know the registration was successful when you see you email address listed on the Cloud screen next to "Registered".  Then you can go to Device B (the device you want to sync or transfer the game to) and enter your email address on the Cloud screen for a new activation email that has an activation code to be entered on Device B's Cloud screen.
