The extra 25% bonus is given in coins for all items. For the bux paying jobs the 25% bonus is calculated based on what that item would have paid you if it were a regular passenger/cargo.
For example: If a regular passenger pays 128 coins then a bux passenger with the same origin airport and with the same destination will pay 1 bux. When the 25% bonus is calculated for each of them you would get additional 25% of 128 which is 32 coins each.
