If you are losing progress, it may be related to how you close the app. On Android devices, the best way to close an app is using the back button on your device to quit. If you close an app by removing if from the recent app list this will immediately force close it and can prevent the recent progress from being saved. If a save is not made the app will revert to its last successful save.
