If you've moved the date on your device to a date in the future and viewed the fireworks, the app will record a timestamp and they will not appear again until 1 day after that time. If this is the case, you can either wait until that future date passes or, since the time stamp is tied to your game data, the only other way to reset it is to reinstall the app and start with a fresh game.
